Kevin is a 32 year old American baseball pitcher. He started his professional career making a debut in major league with Minnesota Twins in 2007 after getting selected in 73rd pick in second round of 2005 Major League Baseball Draft. In first start, he made 5 hits, 1 run and 3 struck outs against Oakland Athletics followed by 5 runs and 2 struck outs in his second start against Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He further went for two complete shutout games in 2008 one against Kansas City Royals and other against Milwaukee Brewers making a record of 12-11 with 3.99 ERA, 123 strikeouts and 24 walks. His 2010 season went on with some miss of matches as due to his injuries ending up with 4.45 ERA in 30 games. Later he was traded with Colorado Rockies and Cleveland Indians finally becoming a free agent and debuting with Miami Marlins. With Marlins, he pitched 4.11 ERA and 76 strikeouts in total 20 games. He made his last appearance with Philadelphia Phillies getting retired on 31st March, 2015. He is now working as assistant to Tony Clark in Major League Baseball Player’s Association.
In 2005, he was named as third team All-American by Baseball America.
